Education:

I attended The Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA from 1979 to 1981 and received a Master of Arts (MA) in Statistics.

I attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine from 1970 to 1974 and received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics with a minor in Earth Science.

I graduated from Weymouth High School in
1970.

Certification:

In November, 2001 I became a National Board Certified Teacher in Adolescent and Young Adult Mathematics. My Cerificaton was renewed in 2011 for another 10 years.

I hold Standard Massachusetts Department of Education Certification in Mathematics, grades 5-12, and Earth Science, grades 5-12.
 
During the summers of 2009 and 2010 I attended the PROMYS Program for Teachers at Boston University.

Family:


My husband Jonathan is an attorney.
My son Wray is an electrical engineer and lives in Seattle, Washington.
My daughter Amanda is an elementary school music teacher  and lives in Denver, Colorado. 
I live in Norfolk and have two cats named Jack and Jill. They are brother and sister.
