Education:

I attended The Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA from 1979 to 1981 and received a Master of Arts (MA) in Statistics. Go NITTANY LIONS!

I attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine from 1970 to 1974 and received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics with a minor in Earth Science.

I graduated from Weymouth High School in 1970.

Certification:

In November, 2001 I became a National Board Certified Teacher in Adolescent and Young Adult Mathematics.

I hold Standard Massachusetts Department of Education Certification in Mathematics, grades 5-12, and Earth Science, grades 5-12.

Family:

My husband Jonathan is an attorney.
My son Wray is an electrical engineer and has just taken a job in Juneau, Alaska.
My daughter Amanda is a junior at Florida State University in Tallahassee studying music education. 
I live in Norfolk and have two cats named Jack and Jill. They are brother and sister.
